Bruce Spence (born 17 September 1945) is an actor who portrays the Gyro Captain in George Miller's 1981 film Mad Max 2 and portrays Jedediah in Miller's 1985 film Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

- Spence is one of three actors in the Mad Max series to play two separate and distinct characters, e.g. Gyro Captain / Jedediah. The others are Hugh Keays-Byrne (Toecutter in Mad Max / Immortan Joe in Mad Max: Fury Road) and Max Fairchild (Benno in Mad Max / Broken Victim in Mad Max 2)
- Spence has also played a supporting character in the third and final installment of four separate, high-profile film trilogies: Jedediah in Beyond Thunderdome, the Trainman in The Matrix Revolutions, The Mouth of Sauron in the extended cut of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and Tion Meddon in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
