The Crash Site was a location in an Australian desert, not far from the Crack in the Earth.
Description
The site contained the remains of a Boeing 747, the plane that had carried The Lost Tribe's ancestors across the desert. Captain Walker, a mythologized figure among the tribe, was the plane's pilot. Capitan Walker had flown a plane of refugees from the nuclear war. The flight had crashed there from turbulence, which the kids think was a gang.
Production
The crash site was filmed at the Cronulla sand dunes outside of Sydney. The site has since been flooded as a result of sand mining.
