Technical spec Edit
The vehicle is most likely based on a Toyota Land Cruiser chassis with a custom body made of a variety of tubing. The vehicle has two tanks in the back to give the impression of being powered by methane, it also has center steering column and a single seat. One exhaust stack is installed, the engine bay is uncovered. The vehicle has a standard cow catcher protecting the radiator. It also has dually wheel setup in the back, the vehicle's body is partially covered in cloth.
Appearances on screen Edit
The vehicle is first seen chasing the train-truck and it helps Blackfinger get on the truck. From then on the vehicle is seen in the background of the chase. The vehicle survives until the very end of the chase.
Appearances off screen Edit
The buggy was displayed at the Sydney Motor Show in 1985 and was kept in storage from 1985 to 1994. In 1994 it was destroyed along with the rest of Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome vehicles at the Simsmetal's St Marys facility in western Sydney.
