The Tell: What's New

• 21st July 2011 IMDB has taken Jeremy Renner off its Mad Max: Fury Road page. Tom Hardy is credited as "Max" with Charlize Theron listed as "Furiosa" (interesting) and Nicholas Hoult as "Nux."

• According to the website "Screen Rant" Mad Max 4 has been re-green-lit for January 2012 filming. Tom Hardy has been locked-in as Max. Only a finished product will tell us how that decision turns out, but hope for the best. To read the full article go here. [1]

• 13th July 2011 - A new page has been added to the Mad Max wiki entitled "Mad Max Pop Culture References." This is a page dedicated to all those instances when the Mad Max trilogy is referenced in films, television productions, books, and video games.

• 11th July 2011 - Ford Australia unveiled two sweet-looking concept cars based on Max's Pursuit Special Interceptor. For the full article and a video follow the link. [2]

• It has been announced that Mad Max Fury Road is in Preproduction, and two actors have been cast, Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy. Tom Hardy is not necessarily playing the role of Max Rockatansky as on Imdb usually they will put a high profile character with the actor. According to Empire Magazine there was a "quotation" and the article implied the role was going to Jeremy Renner. However Sam Worthington is also rumored, and also other actors in this article that include " http://www.empiremovies.com/tag/jeremy-renner/ Renner's name has been associated with the role quite a bit, so one could speculate he is Max. Hildebrandt is the only actor that appeared on the Internet Movie Database Website with the characters name, "Max Rockatansky" with him listed as the actor.

• Mad Max is back! By 2011, George Miller has announced that there will be a 3D anime theatrical motion picture, a videogame adventure coming to PS3 & Xbox 360 and a fourth live-action adventure of the Mad Max universe!^{[1] [2]}

• 15th July 2009 - Road Warrior, The Mad Max Wiki opens!
